A sign allows a turn on a steady red arrow. What must you do first?

  1. Slow down, then turn in either direction
  2. Stop, then turn only in the direction the arrow shows
  3. Stop, then go straight or turn as you like
  4. Turn without a stop if no vehicle is near
Show answer

Correct answer: Stop, then turn only in the direction the arrow shows

Where a sign allows it, a driver may turn on a steady red arrow after a stop. The turn is limited to the direction of the arrow. Some places do not allow it.
