Warning signsQuestion 48 of 223
Yellow diamond with two black arrows that go up side by side, one starting as a curve from the lower right

What does this sign tell you?

  1. Your lane ends and you must merge left
  2. Two lanes become one lane
  3. A lane is added on the right, so no merge is needed
  4. Traffic from the right must stop
Show answer

Correct answer: A lane is added on the right, so no merge is needed

An Added Lane sign warns that a new lane starts beside yours. Traffic from the other road keeps its own lane, so nobody has to merge.
