The accelerator sticks while you drive. What should you do to stop?

  1. Turn the key to the Lock position
  2. Brake and shift into neutral (N)
  3. Shift into park (P) at once
  4. Pull the parking brake all the way
Show answer

Correct answer: Brake and shift into neutral (N)

Keep your eyes on the road and try to lift the pedal with your foot. Then brake and shift into neutral. If you cannot stop, turn the key to Off, not to Lock.
