Sharing the roadQuestion 246 of 318
A school bus on a road that crosses yours has its red lights on. No median divides the roads. What must you do?
- Keep going, because the bus is on another road.
- Slow down, but do not stop.
- Stop, as for a bus in front of you.
- Stop only if children are in sight.
Show answer
Correct answer: Stop, as for a bus in front of you.
The duty to stop applies wherever the school bus is, even on a road that crosses yours. It does not apply if a median or other divider separates the roads.
