Vehicle and equipmentQuestion 72 of 318

How must you set the height of the headrest?

  1. The middle is level with your eyes or the top of your ears
  2. The middle is level with your neck, at the base of the head
  3. The top is level with your shoulders, below the head
  4. The middle is level with your chin, under your face
Show answer

Correct answer: The middle is level with your eyes or the top of your ears

A headrest set at the neck is of little use. In a rear-end collision it must stop the head, so set its middle at eye level or at the top of the ears.
