Licences and demerit pointsQuestion 20 of 318
A driver renews a driver’s licence. What happens to the demerit points on the record?
- The SAAQ erases half of them
- The SAAQ erases all of them
- The SAAQ erases the oldest points
- The SAAQ erases none of them
Show answer
Correct answer: The SAAQ erases none of them
Renewing a licence does not erase demerit points. Points also stay after a first licence or a new licence after a revocation.
