Signals and pavement markingsQuestion 92 of 296

You drive on a divided highway. A solid yellow line is on your right and a white line is on your left. What does this mean?

  1. You are in the passing lane
  2. You are driving the wrong way
  3. You are in a lane for slow traffic
  4. The highway has two-way traffic
Show answer

Correct answer: You are driving the wrong way

On a divided highway the yellow line is on the left edge of your roadway. If it is on your right, you drive against traffic. This is very dangerous.
